The A30 dual carriageway runs close to Launceston, which makes Rose Cottage an ideal base for guests who are touring Devon & Cornwall, visiting the Tamar Valley and perhaps planning a trip to the Eden Project and other attractions.

A five minute drive will take you to Launceston Golf Club or the local Riding Stables. Rose Cottage is a lovely house that has been extended over several hundred years. The original two roomed dwelling is 200 - 300 years old. An addition of several rooms was made in the 1880s and a further extension was made in the 1980s. The house is south facing, situated in a cul-de-sac with private parking areas for guests in a sheltered Launceston valley. It has superb views of Launceston town and Castle, Kensey Valley, St Thomas Hill and St Stephens.
