Siblyback Lake is surrounded by the striking Bodmin Moor and offers a wide range of facilities and activities. The popular Angling and Watersports Centre has facilities for sailing, windsurfing and canoeing and is a premier trout fishery. Watersports courses for beginners and improvers are readily available, as is self launch for the more experienced. Those wanting to spend a weekend on the water can make full use of the small but friendly campsite on the water’s edge. Permits for rainbow trout angling are available from the centre, and boats can also be booked. If watersports isn’t your thing then there’s plenty more to do at this scenic lake, including miles of walks, excellent bird watching, children’s play areas and a tea-room overlooking the water, a tempting retreat offering delicious cakes and a variety of light lunches from Easter to October.
