Gospenheale is Cornish for “the settlement in the nook at the edge of the moor”. This perfectly describes the delightful setting for this barn conversion which was completed in 2007 to provide self catering holiday accommodation for up to 6 people. Set alongside the owners working farm in a quiet hamlet it enjoys wonderful views of the rolling countryside of the Cornwall/Devon border with Dartmoor as a dramatic backdrop. Both the north and south coasts are readily accessible. The area around Tintagel and Boscastle, is an easy 20 minutes drive, and sandy beaches for bathing or surfing are within easy reach. For those who like walking there are miles of country footpaths to explore and the wide open spaces of Bodmin Moor. The market town of Launceston is just 5 miles away. |
